Lori Lewis Designs ANNOUNCES NEW JEWELRY COLLECTIONS FOR SPRING/SUMMER ‘06
Los Angeles based jewelry design house Lori Lewis Designs (www.lorilewisdesigns.com) previewed several upcoming jewelry lines scheduled to release with their Spring/Summer 2006 Designer Collection; Family Tree Jewels, MultiJewels and the Preciosa Collection. Each of these lines carry on the eclectic, luxurious, bohemian style which has come to hallmark Lori Lewis Designs jewels.
Featuring gemstones, Swarovski crystals, fine Czech glass beads and handcrafted in sterling silver or 14kt filled gold, Lori Lewis Designs are designed to do more than just look gorgeous; they are intended to help the wearer manifest what they want in their lives by virtue of the healing power of gemstones.
The new Family Tree line will go even further to infuse jeweled adornment with deeper meaning. Each one-of-a-kind piece will be exclusively designed for the wearer to create a jeweled representation of his or her family using the birthstones of their family members. The number and placement of beads will also relate specifically to the wearer’s family and will result in a gorgeous memento of their loved ones.
“Especially during these troubled times, I think it’s more important than ever to maintain a focus on and closeness with our families,” says Lori Lewis, Designer and CEO of Lori Lewis Designs. “The intent of this line is to create a sort of talisman which will help the wearer keep thoughts of loved ones, and the healing energies of their birthstones, close at heart.”
In addition to the Family Tree line, the new MultiJewels collection features versatile pieces which are wearable as a necklace, a belt loop jewel, a suncatcher, a car charm (hangs from rearview mirror) or a zipper pull. “I love these pieces because they give the wearer so many options,” says Lewis. “With something so versatile, it’s easy to add a little sparkle to your life, even if you’re not a ‘jewelry person’.” A small collection of MultiJewels recently sneak previewed in the company’s online boutique at www.affirmativeaccessores.com.
The Preciosa collection will bring “precious” gemstones into the Lori Lewis Designs mix for the first time, featuring graceful, elegant designs in ruby, emerald, or sapphire. Decidedly girly-girl yet sophisticated and understated, they are a sweet way to add a little bit of sparkle to any look. “I grew up loving these colorful gems and am delighted to be able to incorporate them to my work”, enthuses Lewis. “My goal with this collection is to get as much sparkle as possible out of very refined, delicate pieces.”
